When Rebekah offered to water the ten camels, did she understand how many camels there were and how much water that would be for that many thirsty camels? Wonder how many trips she made back down into that well.

Notice when the servant prayed, his prayer was answered ever before he had finished praying. Similar to what happens to the prophet Daniel

Dan 9:23

As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given, which I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed. Therefore, consider the message and understand the vision:

Can we be sure that as soon as we begin to pray that God will hear and answer our prayers? Are there some things that may hinder our prayers?

I find it interesting that Abraham was adamant about not taking Isaac out of the promised land. Later on we will see Rebekah take just the opposite approach. Look what that led to. Boy when we do things our way instead of God's, messes are sure to follow.
By being obedient and seeking God's guidance, the Holy Spirit gave the servant the exact words to pray that would be answered within minutes. In fact, Rebekah was on her way to the well before he even started praying. I wonder how long the servant had been seeking God about this on his journey prior to getting to this spot. The Holy Spirit gave him the words of the prayer and Rebekah the words to say. What does that tell us about the power of the Holy Spirit and where we should be spending time for guidance in our daily lives?
The servant gives the testimony of what happened to the family in great detail. Through the testimony of how God orchestrated the whole event the family knew it was a God thing. Rebekah had to know it was from God to just up and leave with someone she didn't even know, going to a land and a person she had just heard about. Hmmm, any parallel to Mary. Also great parallels in Psalm 9 to the servants experience, Rebekah's blessing from her family, and Isaac's experience with the wells.
